What Is The Flight of the Eagle About?

The premise of The Flight of the Eagle without spoilers.

Driven by an audacious vision to achieve the impossible, Swedish engineer Salomon August Andrée embarks on a quest to become the first to reach the North Pole. In 1897 he launches the hydrogen‑filled balloon “The Eagle” from Svalbard, accompanied by two compatriots. The expedition vanishes, and the three men are never heard from again.
