What Is The Devil’s Wheel About?
The premise of The Devil’s Wheel without spoilers.
The film adopts Soviet style with Eisenstein‑like rapid cuts and inserts, focusing on a moral tale instead of politics. After a meeting with a Louise Brooks look‑alike at a fair, a sailor misses his boat and falls into a world of pimps. Visuals and quirky characters keep it lively, though plot gaps and a forced slum‑clearance ending persist.
