What Is The Black Network About?
The premise of The Black Network without spoilers.
The owner of a shoe‑polish company sponsors a radio program showcasing Black performers. Because his wife’s father funded the sponsorship, she forces her turn on air after star Nina Mae McKinney, but her awful singing drives customers away. Reduced to shining shoes on corners, the sponsor sees Nina Mae and her boyfriend win a bet and profit easily.
