In 1922, Dr. Albert C. Barnes established an extraordinary collection of Post-Impressionist and Modern art on his Pennsylvania estate, intending it as an educational institution. Over time, the collection's value grew significantly, but Barnes’s will stipulated specific conditions for its preservation. Now, powerful forces are attempting to challenge his legacy and relocate the artworks. A group of former students and dedicated advocates must find a way to protect the collection and uphold Barnes’s vision, preventing the loss of a vital part of America's artistic heritage.
