U.S. Marine Sergeant O’Hara trains recruits, but ‘Skeets’ Burns creates problems. Burns courts nurse Nora Dale, the woman O’Hara loves. Nora, unaware of his feelings, is attracted to Skeets until an indiscretion drives them apart. The tension leads to a China mission, ending in a battle with a warlord’s bandits that forces loyalty and romance to be settled.
