Teen Thay Bhai weaves a lighthearted family tale about reconciliation, where three brothers who have been apart for years are pulled back together by their grandfather’s will.

The eldest, Chixie Gill Om Puri, is a small-time shop owner who juggles the challenge of supporting three obese daughters who, despite their hopes, struggle to find husbands. He also endures a nagging wife he’d sometimes like to send back to her parents’ house. In his younger days he dreamed of running a big cloth store, but their grandfather refused to sell village land needed to fund that dream, leaving Chixie with more ambition than options.

The middle brother, Happy Gill Deepak Dobriyal, works as a dentist and seems to treat every toothache with one diagnosis: shifting pain. As a result, he has no steady practice, but a long line of creditors who remember him for teeth removed more than once. He longs to clear his debts and open a substantial dry-cleaning business. In his youth he was in love with Gurleen Kaur Ragini Khanna, a relationship that drifted apart and left him with what-ifs rather than steady patients.

The youngest, Fancy Gill Shreyas Talpade, pursues acting with the dream of Hollywood, yet his chances often land him in Punjabi cinema. His habit of sprinkling disco vibes and English dialogues into his performances earns him more rejections than roles, and he keeps bouncing back with a stubborn optimism.

Upon their grandfather’s death, the will requires them to come together for three years on the anniversary of his death, at a cabin, and meet the midnight deadline. If they fail, the enormous property surrounding the cabin—worth crores of rupees—will be forfeited. Additionally, every year one brother must take care of their grandfather’s ashes and pass them along to the next younger brother on that same day. The brothers manage to endure two years for the money they crave, but the final year tests them with a series of hurdles: Snowstorms, trespassers, and even foreign babes with drugs threaten to derail their fragile ties.

Yet through these trials, the shared goal forces them to confront old grievances, tighten their bonds, and rediscover what family really means.
