What Is Taurus About?

The premise of Taurus without spoilers.

Set over two days in 1924, the film follows the ailing Lenin—once the revolutionary founder of the USSR—confined to his Gorki estate. Attended by his wife Nadezhda Krupskaya, sister Maniasha, a German doctor and staff, he laments his fading mind, reflects on the deaths of icons such as Marx, rides in a carriage to a meadow picnic, and wrestles with his historical legacy.
