Deep in the African heart of the jungle, a wildly surreal tale unfolds around a cruel ruler who calls herself Queen Bazonga. Paule Emanuele inhabits a colossal blimp that hovers inside a cave carved to resemble a woman’s form, and she dreams of ruling the world. Her plan hinges on appearing formidable, so she pushes for a dramatic change: a full head of hair to command respect. To achieve this, she relies on a bizarre invention devised by her two-headed helper, the Charles of the Pits, a curious schemer who pressures Bazonga toward a risky “scalp transplant” experiment. The two-headed mastermind behind the operation, voiced by Roger Carel, promises that hair from another will give Bazonga the power she seeks, and the queen agrees with a gleeful, if monstrous, certainty.
