In a jazzy all‑dialogue comedy‑drama set amid the 1920s sun‑tan craze, Peggy postpones her wedding to Bill while she spends the summer fixing her errant parents and aiding her sister Janet, who is being blackmailed over compromising love letters sent to a cad.
