Rock‑star Paul Winters, burnt out and fleeing the trappings of fame, crash‑lands on a remote island. There he encounters Sultan, a domesticated Bengal tiger that a rich businessman has abandoned to be hunted. Paul bonds with the tiger and becomes determined to protect and rescue him from the cruel pursuit.
