The premise of Steptoe & Son without spoilers.
Albert Steptoe and his son Harold run a rag‑and‑bone business, travelling the neighbourhood in a horse‑drawn cart from their junkyard home. Harold, drawn to the West End’s bright lights, meets a stripper, marries her and brings her home. Albert, enraged by the new bride, uses every trick to drive her away, his desperate, often absurd schemes turning their cramped junkyard house into a comic battlefield of wits.
