After a research probe crashes on a remote Pacific atoll, alien parasites aboard the craft begin converting native fauna into giant weapons. The parasites attach to a squid, a crab and a snapping turtle, mutating each into a towering, monstrous version of itself. With the transformed creatures wreaking havoc, the invaders aim to use them to conquer Earth.

The Helios 7 space probe is launched on a noble mission to study Jupiter, a voyage intended to widen humanity’s understanding of the outer Solar System. Along the way, the probe is overtaken by an otherworldly intruder: the Space Amoeba, an amorphous parasitic entity that corrupts the ship’s systems and becomes a dangerous force to be reckoned with. As the probe continues outward, the Amoeba clings to its journey and ultimately makes a dramatic return to Earth, crashing into the South Pacific with the alien presence still attached to it. The moment of impact is elusive, but the aftermath is immediate: the Amoeba detaches from the device and takes up residence inside a cuttlefish, mutating it into Gezora, a tentacled kaiju whose arrival marks the beginning of a deadly chain of island-wide chaos. Gezora launches unchecked attacks on ships and vulnerable atolls, turning the peaceful sea lanes into dangerous battlegrounds.
On Selgio Island, a photographer Taro Kudo and his crew set out for a routine photoshoot, hoping to capture the island’s rugged beauty. Their journey into the jungle ends abruptly when Gezora lands nearby and launches a ferocious assault on their camp. The creature’s power becomes clear as it manipulates the weather around it, generating extremely cold temperatures that chill the air and threaten everyone caught in its reach. The survivors quickly learn that heat may be their most effective weapon, a dangerous contradiction that raises the stakes for any hope of stopping the intruder. Hope arrives in the form of ingenuity and persistence: a forgotten World War II munitions bunker offers a way to mount a desperate counterattack.
Using the bunker as a furnace, the humans ignite a fierce blaze that engulfs Gezora. The creature endures severe burns and, driven by pain, retreats back to the sea where it eventually perishes. The threat seems to be curbed, but the Space Amoeba is not finished. It reasserts its influence by possessing a stone crab, mutating it into Ganimes, and dispatching it to raid nearby islands. Once again, the human defenders rally and manage to lure Ganimes into a pit, where explosives deliver a crushing defeat. The Amoeba survives this second encounter, slipping away into the jungle to plan another scheme.
The Space Amoeba’s next gambit is more ambitious: it seizes control of two Earth creatures—Ganimes once more and a mata mata named Kamoebas—sending them to overwhelm the human camp with a coordinated assault. The seemingly unstoppable threat forces Kudo to read the monsters’ shared weakness: supersonic waves. With the realization in hand, the humans orchestrate a counterattack that sends a torrent of bats through the air, creating a sonic onslaught that disrupts the Amoeba’s control and loosens its grip on the pair of creatures. Ganimes and Kamoebas, now without direction, turn on each other and collide in brutal clashes that devastate the camp. Undeterred, the humans unleash one final push—more explosives and a ruthless force of nature—triggering a volcanic eruption that swallows the Space Amoeba along with its two pawns, finally ending the threat and bringing a fragile calm back to the islands.
