In a future ravaged by a climate catastrophe and plunged into a perpetual ice age, the remnants of humanity survive aboard the Snowpiercer, a constantly moving train. The train’s strict class system fuels resentment, and a rebellion is sparked by a determined passenger who seeks to seize control of the engine. His fight for liberation represents a desperate hope for a better future and a chance to reclaim a world lost to extinction.

In 2014, a drastic attempt to combat climate change through stratospheric aerosol injection goes horribly wrong, plunging Earth into a new ice age that decimates much of its life. For seventeen long years, the few remaining humans live aboard a revolutionary self-sustaining train, the Snowpiercer, owned by the enigmatic transportation mogul, Wilford. Life aboard the train is a stark contrast; the affluent enjoy luxury in the front cars, while the destitute are relegated to filthy tail compartments, tightly monitored by armed guards.
