Vijay is a young, aspiring children’s book illustrator whose father, Sarvesh, is passionate about movies. Unlike his father, Vijay harbors a strong dislike for films, believing they are merely fiction. His worldview is challenged when a film producer approaches Sarvesh to rent his house for a movie shoot, featuring the renowned actress Sameera Rathore, as the lead. Sarvesh, dreaming of fulfilling his childhood ambition of becoming an actor himself, readily agrees to the arrangement, much to Vijay’s dismay, who finds this whole scenario unnecessary and disruptive.

As the movie shoot commences, the entire family, except Vijay, begins to enjoy the experience despite some minor inconveniences. Sameera, who struggles with speaking Telugu because she cannot communicate fluently, notices the family making fun of her. She approaches Vijay, requesting him to be her language coach, and he agrees to help her. In doing so, Sameera starts spending more time with Vijay and his family, especially to stay away from Kishore Babu, the film’s leading actor who becomes distant.

Throughout this process, Vijay comes to see Sameera not as the glamorous star he initially imagined, but as a genuine person with her own struggles. He begins to develop feelings for her, realizing that her persona is far from the superficial image often portrayed in the media. Their bond deepens, and Vijay inadvertently falls in love with her. After the shooting wraps up, Sameera leaves, but Vijay’s affection for her grows even stronger. He later visits her at her shoot location in Manali and confesses his love, only to be gently rebuffed as she admits she doesn’t share his romantic feelings.

Meanwhile, the film made in Vijay’s house gets released. The movie’s editing results in his heartfelt words to Sameera being used as dialogue, without his consent. To make matters worse, Sameera claims on a TV show that she wrote that dialogue herself, creating a misunderstanding. Furious, Vijay calls the show under a false name to confront her, but Sameera arrives at his house to reconcile. However, Vijay, feeling betrayed and hurt, harshly rejects her.

Things take a darker turn when Vijay learns that Sameera has fallen from her balcony and is critically injured in the hospital. He visits her and learns from her manager that her colleague, Amit Malhotra, is responsible. Amit, who started off as a fellow aspiring actor alongside Sameera, became jealous as she gained success. His obsession turned into harassment, and despite her efforts to stay away, Amit continued to torment her. Throughout this ordeal, Sameera finds solace in Vijay’s genuine affection, and her feelings for him intensify.

Amit’s jealousy escalates when he learns about Sameera’s love for Vijay. He appears at her home with a demeaning film offer, demanding she spend a night with a producer in exchange for a career boost, while blackmailing her with compromising videos. When she stands up to him, he retaliates violently, forcing her out of a balcony and causing her injury. Vijay soon discovers that the screenplay thief had stolen the dialogue from his words, revealing a further misunderstanding.

Determined to protect Sameera, Vijay, his friends, and his father confront Amit, threatening him and retrieving the blackmail content. They force him to leave for Mumbai, ending his harassment. In the aftermath, Sameera, having recovered, appears as the chief guest at Vijay’s children’s book launch. Vijay, realizing his true feelings, apologizes and again confesses his love for her, which she happily accepts.

The story concludes with a promising outlook: Sarvesh lands a role in an upcoming film, while Vijay’s mother receives a call from a major production company for her catering services. The final scene shows Sameera and Vijay on a terrace, talking intimately, both deeply in love, hinting at a hopeful future together.
