Rishi and Radha are two children born on the same date and time—1:43 PM—at the same hospital, to their best friends, Ramu and Chanti. Their friendship blossoms into love when they are just 14 years old, leading them to share a special gift: matching watches on their birthdays. However, their bond is tested when Rishi witnesses Radha being harassed by their classmate Rakesh. Concerned for her safety, Rishi warns Radha to steer clear of Rakesh. Although Radha initially obeys Rishi’s advice, Rakesh devises a plan to engage her in conversation. This infuriates Rishi, who confronts Rakesh in a physical altercation. Unfortunately, this leads to a heated moment between Rishi and Radha which results in Radha slapping Rishi, who retaliates.
