Back at home, a malevolent shadow seems to stalk Jean, creeping through quiet rooms and watching her from the corners. In a sequence of chilling events, the spirit drowns Bobby in a toilet and attacks Val, who survives only thanks to an amulet she has worn since childhood to ward off usog. The dual attacks heighten the sense that the danger is not just psychological but deeply supernatural, pressing Jean to confront the price of her carelessness and the reality that her online pranks may have drawn a real trouble she cannot simply laugh away.

Seeking help, Jean and her friend Sherwin return to the abandoned building and cross paths with Minda, a local faith healer, and her apprentice Quintin. They explain that Jean is cursed by the spirit of Catalina, a malevolent witch who preys on children, and that Catalina has possessed Luna, Quintin’s sister. Luna’s true identity adds a haunting layer to the mystery: she is the homeless woman Jean had pranked years earlier, a revelation that binds past misdeeds to present danger with unsettling clarity.

Determined to end the curse and free Luna, Jean and Minda engage in a perilous confrontation within the spirit dimension. The battle is fierce and costly: Minda is overwhelmed and dies, but Jean ultimately vanquishes Catalina and, in the process, inherits Minda’s healing abilities. The immediate threat is lifted, Luna is released, and Quintin takes up the mantle as the local faith healer, stepping into a role that balances tradition with a new future born from hard-won trust.

Moved by the experience, Jean resolves to leave pranking behind and to repair her fractured relationship with her father, her father. A quiet moment on a date with Sherwin is interrupted when they encounter a homeless girl. As Jean helps her while Sherwin steps away, a shadowy figure lunges toward her, and the scene cuts to black, leaving a lingering sense of danger and a transformed, uncertain hope for what comes next.
