Milo, an aging Serbian drug lord, sits through a Narcotics Anonymous meeting with a quiet fear: the stress of cooking for his daughter’s 25th birthday party might push him back into old habits. After the meeting, he heads out with his loyal henchman, Branko, only to discover the shipment he’s supposed to pick up isn’t heroin at all—it’s 10,000 ecstasy pills. To get an explanation, he confronts his Albanian supplier, Luan, who quietly suggests a way forward: Milo can still receive a heroin shipment and, crucially, he might also try to sell the ecstasy on the side.
