Spoilers ahead
On Skeleton Island, an uncharted outpost somewhere in the Falkland Islands chain, a tense mutiny unfolds as Long John Silver, Lance Henriksen and Billy Bones seize control from Captain Flint, Chriss Anglin. The operation is brutal and chaotic; gigantic insects unleash their own miniature apocalypse, forcing a desperate retreat back to the ship. In the frenzy, Silver’s leg is torn away by a massive beetle, a brutal reminder of the island’s deadly oddities and the price of greed. The mutineers retreat with wounded pride and sharpened nerves, while the island’s savage welcome foreshadows the blood-streaked path ahead.
