Uda is a deaf young man who works under Tokan as a drug dealer, and his dream is to hear again. He funds a risky surgery by the money he earns from selling drugs, living in a modest room in a flats building shared with a distressed couple. Every evening he makes a personal ritual of standing at the edge of the train tracks to feel the wind and the tremors of the passing trains, a quiet moment that helps him cope with his condition. Before bed, he listens to the song Rintihan Hati by Othman Hamzah, a tune that seems to anchor his hopes and memories.

Dara is a teenage girl living with her troubled father, a security guard who often works at night, a situation that strains their relationship and pushes Dara toward exploration and companionship with her friend Melor. Dara’s social circle includes her boyfriend Kamil, a young man from a wealthy background who is abroad for studies and harbors the wish to sleep with Dara. Kamil enlists the help of his associate Azman and others in his circle, as part of a plan to press his pursuit. Dara also crosses paths with Uda when she and Melor share a ride with him in an elevator, a moment that marks the start of a troubling entanglement. Uda is drawn to Dara after she is seen listening to his favorite song, and the two begin to develop a complicated connection.

As the story unfolds, Kamil’s impatience and the group’s schemes push Dara into further peril. Dara’s father scolds her for wandering away and fears she might repeat her mother’s path, while Melor and Dara resume school life and try to navigate their own pressures. After a casual outing with Uda and a movie, Uda receives another drug shipment request from Azman, and Azman discusses with Kamil the birthday party that would continue Dara’s entanglements. Dara becomes aware of Uda’s real job selling drugs, adding tension to their relationship as Uda asks for three more days to raise money for the surgery that could restore his hearing.

Ultimately, Uda manages to gather enough money in time, and the birthday party is set to take place at Kamil’s house. Once again Uda sends a drug to Kamil’s residence on Azman’s request, and the drug affects Dara, who becomes feverish and faints. Azman, driven by the moment, takes Dara to Kamil’s room, where he, under the influence, fantasizes about Dara and commits an assault. Kamil ends the party abruptly and leaves Dara at the hospital’s emergency department, a blow that deeply unsettles Dara and casts a shadow over her future.

Dara’s father’s disappointment grows as Dara’s condition worsens, and Uda confronts Kamil to understand what happened. Kamil reveals that Azman is the one who assaulted Dara, a revelation that deepens the sense of tragedy and guilt around everyone involved. In a fit of despair, Kamil turns to smoking, while Uda tracks down Azman to face him. Melor intervenes, entering Azman’s space and confronting him for harming Dara, and in a desperate moment she uses Azman’s own artwork as a weapon, striking a deathly blow that ends Azman’s life. Grief and anger push Uda toward the train tracks once more, despite medical advice to avoid noisy places, and the film cuts to a final image of Dara waking from a coma, leaving the outcome bittersweet and open to interpretation.
