What Is Pardon About?

Set in post-war Poland, the film follows Hanna and Jacob as they embark on a final journey with their deceased son. The story is seen through the eyes of their grandson, Jan. Waclaw "Odrowaz" Szewczyk, Hanna and Jacob's son, was a soldier in the Home Army and lost his life. The film explores themes of grief, remembrance, and the lasting impact of war on a family struggling to cope with loss and rebuild their lives.
