The trio shares a lively conversation over coffee, showcasing their comfortable friendship and ease with one another.

Things take a drastic turn when Phoebe boldly suggests they share an intimate milestone before heading off to college: losing their virginity together. With their minds set, they head to Phoebe’s home, but their plans are swiftly interrupted by an unexpected visitor—a motorcyclist bursts into the bakery, and the situation escalates into chaos when a gunshot shatters the moment, leaving them all in shock.

The aftermath of Kevin’s murder sends ripples of despair throughout their community. Gripped by sorrow and indignation, Addison resolves to pursue justice, unwilling to accept the authorities’ dismissive stance on the case. He begins by putting up flyers at school, calling for anyone with information about the shooting to come forward.

As his investigation deepens, Addison uncovers Kevin’s file at school, revealing that his friend had been seeing a counselor due to feelings of disconnection. This pivotal information strengthens Addison’s resolve to get to the bottom of Kevin’s murder.

Meanwhile, Phoebe reaches out to a witness of the incident, only to learn that the shooter was white, contrary to initial reports. She shares this alarming news with Addison, along with her discovery that Kevin had been involved with a former student named Noel. Driven by curiosity, they track down Noel and his associate, D. Cash.
