Cheung San-ho compels Ray to Macau for a high-stakes gambling showdown, ordering him to wait there for Cheung’s arrival. Coming back from the United States to Hong Kong in search of his cousin, the real Ray is soon swindled by con artists Big Dee and Leslie, who seize his gambling stake and the VIP card Cheung had given him.
The con artists press ahead to Macau under a fake Ray identity, with Leslie impersonating Ray while Big Dee serves as his bodyguard, heading to the tables to gamble. Not long after, the real Ray catches up and confronts them, but he chooses to let the impersonation continue, allowing Leslie to stand in at the games.
Unexpectedly, Yeung Sing and Yeung Chun harbor sinister plans, aiming to murder the trio and frame Cheung. When Yeung Sing brings his three henchmen to carry out the attack, Yeung Chun and Cheung arrive, and Chun kills Sing. Cheung apologizes to Ray for the earlier trouble, while Ray suggests that Big Dee and Leslie take part in the gambling competition, a suggestion Cheung accepts.
During the final round, the fierce rivalry between Cheung and Ray over strategy creates a volatile atmosphere that leaves Big Dee in a position to sweep the pot, becoming the big winner. But after the game, Yeung Chun’s true motives are revealed: he sought to seize Cheung’s position and hired Big Fool to kill him, only to be thwarted when Big Fool proves to be Ray’s longtime friend and refuses to cooperate.
In the aftermath, Yeung Chun faces punishment for his schemes. Ray returns to the United States, and Big Dee makes a parting deal: in one year, he will truly beat Ray again at the gambling table.
