New Orleans Uncensored 1955
Discharged naval officer Dan Corbett arrives in New Orleans and takes a job as a longshoreman, unaware that the waterfront is controlled by a notorious racketeer. After the dock manager is slain before he can alert authorities about the criminal operation, Dan teams up with the police and goes undercover to investigate the scheme.

The docks of New Orleans are controlled by Zero Saxon, a notorious racketeer. When Dan Corbett, a former naval officer hoping to start his own shipping venture, arrives in town, he takes a job working for Saxon to earn money, unaware of how deeply corrupt the operation is.
Longshoremen’s union representative Jack Petty and his girlfriend Alma Mae are impressed by Dan after he quickly neutralizes a drunken troublemaker harassing Alma Mae. They help arrange a position for him through Saxon’s dock manager, Joe Reilly, whose wife Marie Reilly invites Dan to dinner and introduces him to her brother, Scrappy Durant, a former prizefighter.
Tragedy strikes when Joe is killed by Saxon’s thugs to keep him from informing on the illegal activities at the docks. Marie admits she had been expecting this to happen. Dan goes undercover, trying to help the New Orleans police investigate.
Due to a misunderstanding, Scrappy attacks Dan in a boxing ring, and Dan accidentally kills him with a punch. Dan is then beaten by Saxon’s men, but with Alma and Marie’s help, he is able to assist the police in placing Saxon under arrest.
