What Is New Faces of 1937 About?
The premise of New Faces of 1937 without spoilers.
A fresh theatrical concept takes over the screen as a shrewd, dishonest producer cheats his way through Broadway. He profits by selling more than 100 % of the interest in doomed productions to multiple investors, overlapping stakes so each party believes they own a share. The scheme works perfectly—until a show unexpectedly makes a profit, at which point the producer finally fails.
