National Theatre Live: Follies 2017
New York City, 1971. As the Weismann Theatre faces demolition, a group of former showgirls, the Follies girls, reunite for one last gathering. Thirty years after their final performance, they reminisce, share stories, and sing beloved songs, while also revealing secrets and exaggerating past glories. The evening becomes a poignant reflection on lost youth, faded dreams, and the passage of time.
