In March 1998, the five surviving members of Monty Python—John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin—took the stage together in Aspen, Colorado, for the first time in 18 years. A symbolic urn containing Graham Chapman’s ashes was also present. The reunion was part of the US Comedy Arts Festival’s tribute to Monty Python, hosted by Robert Klein before a live audience.
