What Is Molière About?
The premise of Molière without spoilers.
Orphaned as a child, Jean‑Baptiste Poquelin is brought up by his father and grandfather. He takes work as a handyman, studies law at university, and tours the provinces as an actor. Eventually he emerges as the famed playwright Molière, first winning the patronage of the Duke of Orléans and later captivating King Louis XIV.
