In the distant corners of the universe, a planet inhabited by extraordinary feline beings—known as Meow—presents a civilization notably more refined than Earth’s. For ages, the Meow king has dispatched messengers to Earth to gauge its readiness for an imminent invasion. Yet, as the years stretched on, every envoy vanished without a trace, and the king gradually shelved his long-dormant plans.

Today, the decision is rekindled. The king chooses the bravest and mightiest warrior of Meow, a figure named Pudding, to spearhead the assault on Earth. The mission begins with high expectations, but fate has a cruel twist in store. During the perilous journey, Pudding loses a sacred Meow device—a tool capable of resisting Earth’s hostile particles—striping him of his divine powers. Stripped of his former might, the lean warrior transforms into a much larger, unlikely hero: Sai-sai-lei, a giant, plump cat with a surprising gentleness.

Sai-sai-lei’s new life takes a domestic turn when he is taken in as a pet by a human family. The household includes Ng Sau-lung, his wife Chow Lai-chu, their older son Ng Yau-choi, and their younger daughter Ng Yau-yau. Amid the hum of everyday family life, Sai-sai-lei hides his true identity and bides his time while searching for the lost device that would allow him to resume the invasion.

Yet as days pass, something unexpected begins to unfold. The family’s warmth, sincerity, and everyday acts of care start to chip away at Sai-sai-lei’s warrior-coded resolve. The more he experiences their love and loyalty, the more his original mission loses its appeal. The very acts of kindness he encounters cause a transformation, softening the once-rigid fighter and awakening a slow, reluctant admiration for the bonds that hold this human clan together.

Still, the shadow of conquest lingers. Sai-sai-lei clings to the memory of his objective, and the moment he uncovers the missing device arrives with a renewed sense of purpose. The story threads a delicate balance between the pull of duty and the pull of family, revealing how exposure to genuine care can recalibrate even the most formidable plans.

In the end, the narrative explores themes of coexistence, empathy, and change. It presents a creature forged for invasion who learns to question the value of conflict in the face of intimate connection. The revival of the device marks a turning point, leaving audiences with a sense of anticipation about whether the invasion will proceed or be redirected by the enduring power of belonging and loyalty.
