Mekko 2015
After nineteen years in prison, Mekko is released with no family or home and travels to Tulsa. Rejected by a cousin, he finds himself homeless and is taken in by a local Native American community. While the group has moments of joy, a sinister atmosphere permeates their lives, particularly due to a man named Bill, who Mekko believes to be a malevolent force. Seeking a way to rid the community of this perceived evil, Mekko draws on the traditional teachings of his grandmother, embarking on a journey of redemption and hoping to find peace and forgiveness for his past.
