Srinivas, Raja hails from a poor farmer’s family after his father commits suicide under crushing debt. He works as a driver for a businessman, earning a modest income that he still shares with orphans. His friend and roommate Bhaskar stands by him, offering companionship as they navigate a tough world together.

One day at the airport, he spots Siri, a little girl abandoned by her parents. Siri has a terminal heart condition, and doctors say the operation costs Rs 3 lakhs. He also crosses paths with Anupama, Bhumika Chawla, who secretly shadows him, drawn to his quiet resolve and generosity.

Unable to gather the funds, he resolves to fulfill her last wish by taking Siri to Tirumala. He asks Bhaskar to take Siri for darshan and waits in a park, muttering resentful prayers toward Lord Venkateswara and Kubera, the moneylender who lends with interest from devotees. In a turn of fate, Kubera, S. P. Balasubramaniam, appears in disguise and offers him Rs 5 lakhs, with a promise to repeat such gestures whenever asked.

With the windfall, Siri undergoes the surgery, and Srinivas uses the remaining funds to start a small business. He donates half of his profits to the welfare of orphans and poor farmers, and Anupama joins him to help with the cause, bringing a sense of shared purpose to his work and life.

Kubera visits Srinivas’s home and performs chores there in a bid to lift a curse laid by a sage. During this period, Anupama and Srinivas fall in love, their bond deepening as they work side by side for those in need.

Kubera presses for Srinivas’s life to obtain relief from the curse, and Srinivas reveals the truth to Anupama, asking her to forget him and take care of Siri. Anupama, however, insists that they should marry, embracing the chance to build a future together.

When Kubera arrives to claim Srinivas’s life, he discovers that the couple is about to wed and ends up participating as the bride’s father in the ceremony. A twist reveals that Anupama is Kubera’s daughter, and Narada, with Kubera’s wife Vriddhi and servant Virupaksha, stage the dramatic sequence to test the curse’s grip. Kubera is faced with a dilemma: killing Srinivas would leave his own daughter a widow.

Srinivas asks Kubera to stop taking money from devotees so that it can be used for the poor, and hearing this, Kubera’s curse is lifted. In the end, the cycle of generosity and compassion completes, and all remains well.
