Chandran, Mammootty, a lorry driver known for his arrogance moves through life with a blunt edge that unsettles those around him. His helper Ravi, Mukesh, is a devoted family man who often speaks about his wife Remani and his mother, and he treats Chandran with a quiet warmth that borders on brotherly affection. Despite Chandran’s rough exterior, he shows a surprising tenderness toward Ravi, accepting him as a younger brother even as he chases hard-fought wages and rough moments on the road. When not working, Chandran retreats into alcohol-fueled leisure, while Ravi quietly saves money to turn a long-held dream into brick-and-mortar reality—a house that would belong to his family one day.

Then comes a hopeful note: Ravi receives a letter from Remani inviting him to their village for the annual temple festival. A spark of excitement lights Ravi’s face as he shares the news with Chandran, promising to return after two weeks. But fate bends in an cruel arc. On his journey toward home, Ravi is struck by tragedy, and his life ends far from those who love him.
