Set against the lush shores of Mauritius, Bhanu, a lively young woman, lives with her uncle Bobby and quietly builds a new life after marrying Prakash [Sai Kumar], an orphan whose calm exterior hides a turbulent past. Together they welcome a son, Raja, and believe they’ve found a path to happiness. But a troubling incident from Prakash’s hometown in Rayalaseema drags the family back into the shadowed world he once tried to leave behind.
When Prakash attempts to contact his mother, the call goes unanswered, leaving him unsettled and desperate to protect what remains of his new life. He decides to return to India with Bhanu and Raja, hoping to shield them from the violence that defined his former days. On arrival, a shocking truth emerges: Prakash is the scion of a powerful feudal clan, and his father, Narasimha [Prakash Raj], is a notorious faction leader whose influence casts a long, dangerous shadow over everyone around them. The revelation unsettles Bhanu, who has little patience for the brutality that still courses through that world. Prakash had left it behind, moving to Mauritius to escape; now, back among kin and enemies, the danger returns with a vengeance.
Narasimha’s rivals move quickly to strike, but Narasimha’s loyalists intervene, rescuing Bhanu, Prakash, and Raja and bringing them to the safety of their ancestral home. Bhanu finds the entrenched culture appalling and oppressive, yet she clings to the one stable source of warmth in the house—their kind-hearted mother-in-law, Bhanumati [Soundarya], who cares deeply for Bhanu, Prakash, and Raja and does what she can to shield them from the worst of the feudal codes.
Prakash makes arrangements to return to Mauritius, entrusting their passports to his steadfast friend and ally, Inspector Chinna [Chinna], to help them travel when the time is right. But the family’s fragile calm is shattered during a wedding ceremony when Prakash is attacked and killed by Narasimha’s enemies. Devastated, Bhanu contemplates fleeing with Raja, but at her mother-in-law’s urging she agrees to stay for Prakash’s funeral. Narasimha, hungry for an heir to carry on the family legacy and to avenge his son’s death, refuses to let Bhanu leave with Raja, and he confines her to the house, making escape seem all the more unlikely.
Into this peril steps Sarai Veeraraju, a petty thief who dreams of Dubai and sees Bhanu’s plight as a path to a better future. With the help of her mother-in-law’s compassion, Bhanu escapes and recovers the passports from Chinna. As Narasimha’s men close in, Veeraraju offers to help in exchange for money to fuel his own departure. He stands as a protector for Bhanu and Raja, guiding them toward a train to Hyderabad, even as danger mounts around them. In a final, selfless act, Veeraraju sacrifices his life to ensure their escape.
Narasimha remains relentless, chasing Bhanu to the airport. Yet a turning point arrives when his wife confronts him about the family’s responsibilities and the consequences of their legacy. Faced with this confrontation, Narasimha experiences a moment of clarity and mercy; he forgives Bhanu and allows her and Raja to leave, choosing a path away from revenge.
The film closes on a note of reconciliation and farewell: Bhanu forgives Narasimha for the violence that has scarred their lives, and Raja says a poignant goodbye to his grandfather, marking an uneasy but hopeful ending where duty, forgiveness, and the bonds of family contend with a hard-won peace.
