Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega 2001

Prakash Saif Ali Khan is a troubled young man who has married Sapna Sonali Bendre, the daughter of a wealthy business tycoon named Rajiv Chopra Dalip Tahil. From the start, Chopra resents his son-in-law and makes life difficult for the couple, turning their home into a tense arena of petty insults and constant pressure. The relationship is strained, and Prakash begins to feel the weight of his father-in-law’s disapproval pressing down on him, a burden that gnaws at both his pride and his sense of security.

In a bid to level the playing field, Prakash conceives a plan to stage Sapna’s kidnapping—not to hurt her, but to make Chopra feel the fear and helplessness that Prakash endures. He enlists two down-on-their-luck men, Rahul Fardeen Khan and Harry Aftab Shivdasani, to pose as fake kidnappers and carry out the ruse. Rahul is an unemployed graduate who dreams of a real break, and he is also torn by his love for Anjali, the daughter of their strict landlord Dakshina Murthi. Anjali’s future looks uncertain because Murthi has laid down a hard condition: Rahul must secure a proper job within one month and pay all overdue rents if he hopes to win Anjali’s hand. This looming deadline pushes Rahul and his roommate Harry deeper into the scheme, hoping the money and the opportunity will come through.

The plan initially appears to work. Sapna is intercepted and held for a ransom, and Chopra finally agrees to pay a staggering sum—Rs 11 crore. The two fake kidnappers orchestrate Sapna’s release, and she is left in a forest as part of the setup. Prakash arrives at the meeting point, eager to reclaim his wife, only to face a shocking twist: Sapna has been kidnapped again, but this time by real criminals. What begins as a calculated con quickly spirals into a wild, comic misadventure, where the line between illusion and reality blurs and the whole affair transforms into a chaotic, laughter-filled joy ride.
