Lady of the Manor 2021

In an unexpected twist of fate, Hannah Kolinsky (once a carefree drug dealer with a love for indulgence) finds herself ensnared in a chaotic misadventure caused by a case of mistaken identity that results in her being handcuffed. Following this incident, she faces the harsh reality of being dumped by her boyfriend, forcing her to pick up the pieces of her fractured life. Just when it seems as though destiny is turning against her, she receives an intriguing proposition from Tanner, the suave yet morally questionable heir of a well-known Southern family. He offers her a position as a tour guide at his ancestral Antebellum mansion, but unbeknownst to Hannah, this job is merely a ruse to entice her into a romantic entanglement, having previously dismissed the last guide for spurning his advances.

Struggling to fulfill her new role, Hannah quickly reveals herself to be a lackluster and clumsy tour guide, failing hilariously in her attempts to mimic the grace of Lady Wadsworth, the estate’s long-lost matriarch. Her incompetence draws the ire of Lady Wadsworth’s ghost, who begins to haunt the mansion, berating Hannah for her dismal efforts. However, as she reluctantly acquiesces and allows the spectral Wadsworth to teach her about history and decorum, an unexpected camaraderie develops between them, leading them to become increasingly similar.

With a revitalized sense of purpose and growing discomfort at Tanner’s advances, Hannah finds herself turning towards Max, a kind-hearted and knowledgeable history professor she meets serendipitously, relishing the comfort of his company. Together with the ghostly Wadsworth, they embark on a quest to uncover hidden truths, including the revelation that the mansion was originally meant to be passed on to Wadsworth’s closest friend and former maid, whose descendants still inhabit the estate today. Embarking on a series of investigative pursuits to amend the errors of the past, Hannah and Max discover a budding romance blossoming between them, solidifying their connection against the backdrop of family secrets and spectral mentorship.
