Vishnu Narayanan is a wealthy businessman whose public facade as a devoted husband to Seetha masks a restless private life. He is a natural flirt and a persistent womanizer, always chasing new romantic opportunities, even when his schemes rarely end in lasting relationships. He pretends to love Ragini and promises marriage, but his deeper aim is something else. Soon he becomes involved with a younger, alluring Revathi, while also taking a keen interest in the newly appointed office steno Rose Mary. Time and again his plans stumble, pulled between desire and reality, and his appetite for attention often exceeds his ability to commit. He even shows attraction to a teenage girl, underscoring the dangerous edge of his impulses.

Into this tangled web steps Nair, who introduces Vishnu to a new girl, Indhu, an orphan described as childlike and innocent. Indhu blindly believes the man played by Murali. She accompanies Vishnu to his house, and what begins as anticipating a sexual encounter takes a surprising turn as Indhu’s sincerity slowly unsettles Vishnu’s usual game. Her genuine nature stands in stark contrast to his practiced routine, and the encounter shifts from conquest to something more unsettling for him.

The drama builds toward a tense confrontation when Vishnu’s mother arrives at Vishnu’s bungalow, together with her father. To sidestep trouble, Vishnu engineers a story and convinces his family that Indhu is his illegitimate daughter. The plan briefly works, and Indhu is welcomed into the family, taken to the ancestral home. Vishnu is initially buoyed by the illusion that he has controlled the situation, but the emotional and moral weight of the deception soon presses on him. He is left bewildered and disappointed as the reality of his manipulation sinks in, and a resolve forms to decide whether Indhu should be returned to Murali’s sphere or kept closer to him. The narrative then weaves through a maze of loyalties, consequences, and tough choices, exploring how wealth and charm can crumble under the strain of deceit, and how a single fabrication can reshape a family’s future.
