The premise of Kidnapped without spoilers, adapted from Kidnapped by Robert Louis Stevenson and Donald McFarlan.
In 1751 Scotland, the young heir David Balfour is kidnapped and forced onto a ship, where he meets the charismatic Jacobite outlaw Alan Breck Stewart. The two forge an uneasy alliance and flee together into the rugged Highlands, constantly evading redcoats while struggling to survive and outwit their pursuers.
