Kaddisch für einen Freund (2012): Cast, Box Office & Where to Watch

Growing up in a Palestinian refugee camp, 14-year-old Ali Messalam was taught to despise Jewish people. After his family fled Lebanon, he settled in Berlin Kreuzberg and sought acceptance among Arab youths. To prove his loyalty, Ali is challenged to break into the apartment of his Jewish-Russian neighbor, Alexander. A subsequent act of vandalism ensues, but Ali is the only one identified when Alexander unexpectedly returns. To avoid legal consequences and potential deportation, Ali must confront his perceived enemy and seek his help.
