Juan, Alexis Díaz de Villegas, a lazy man in his forties, leads a carefree life in Cuba with his accident‑prone sidekick Lázaro, Jorge Molina. While out fishing, the pair reels in what looks like a corpse. The figure stirs and attacks them, but Lazaro fends it off with a spear gun and the two dismiss it as a freak accident. Their circle of questionable friends includes Vladi California, Andros Perugorría, the drag queen La China, Jazz Vilá, and La China’s lover Primo, Eliecer Ramírez.
