Ananta, Sujoy, Ananda, and Rajasankar Dhol are childhood friends whose bond has always kept them close, even as life pulls them in different directions. Ananta, a fashion photographer, lives in a small rented house owned by Khagen Mal with his wife, Dola. The four friends—though they come from different paths and backgrounds—spend their days under one roof, navigating dreams, mischief, and the everyday chaos of city life.

When Ananda moves to Kolkata for work and Sujoy arrives in the city to audition for a dance program, followed by Rajasankar Dhol fleeing a setback in the theater world, the friends find themselves sharing space in the same cramped dwelling. The sudden convergence of four men under one roof brings a whirlwind of personalities, plans, and pranks, all intensified by the meddling of the house’s owners and the fragile, evolving dynamics of their relationships. The tension crescendos when Khagen Mal catches them with his second wife, Tola Boudi, and, feeling betrayed, orders them to vacate.

Left with nowhere to go, the group scrambles to find a new place to live but quickly realizes they need more than a roof over their heads—they need a sense of family. In a bold, almost reckless plan to secure stability, Sujoy and Dhol agree to pretend to be Ananda and Ananta’s wives, hoping the deception will smooth over the chaos and bring a semblance of normalcy back to their lives. As the ruse unfolds, friendships are tested and, in unexpected ways, each man discovers that his romantic interests already extend to someone connected to the same household. The revelations spark a cascade of misunderstandings, until the truth comes to light and the four friends begin to understand the consequences of their choices.

The situation takes a darker turn when Nepal Khan, the head of a shadowy group called Complex, partners with Khagen Mal and orchestrates a kidnapping to force the family to sign away property for a looming building project. The four friends muster courage and rally together, confronting threats and enemies in a tense confrontation that leaves everyone exposed—the disguises crumble, and the family finally learns the entire story. After a fierce struggle, they succeed in protecting the loved ones and earning the chance to make amends. In the end, forgiveness and reconciliation prevail, and the family accepts their apologies, embracing a renewed sense of trust and harmony.
