In the heart of Angel Falls, a small town, Winnie Carruthers finds herself swept up in the festive spirit of Christmas with her family. However, the joy is short-lived when her father, David, is summoned by the ambitious CEO of Waters Industry, Henry Waters. Henry is keen on persuading Roger Evans, a local resident, to approve the demolition of his old family home to make way for a sprawling shopping center. Roger, intent on leaving the house to his beloved granddaughter Cara, who is also Winnie’s closest friend, stands firm against Henry’s plans. Tragically, soon after, Roger is murdered in his home by a mysterious figure known as “The Angel”.

That fateful evening at a party, the sinister Angel kills Cara and nearly takes Winnie’s brother, Jimmy, as its next victim. In a desperate act of courage, Winnie manages to electrocute the attacker, only to uncover that The Angel is—shocking as it is—none other than Henry himself.
