In the kingdom of Ehb, Hazen Kaine, known to locals as Farmer, lives a quiet and hopeful life with his wife Solana and their young son Zeph in the town of Stonebridge. The balance of their days is shattered when a sudden, brutal assault arrives from the Krug—creatures long thought primitive, now armed with armor, strategy, and a terrifying resolve. The invaders move with shocking coordination, driven by a dark master pulling their strings from behind the chaos: Gallian, a powerful Magus whose sadistic genius seems bent on conquering Ehb. As the assault unfolds, Farmer, his ally Norick, and his brother-in-law Bastian fight valiantly to defend their town, but Zeph is lost to Gallian’s arcane Krug avatar, a moment that darkens every future hope.
