Three crates arrive at the harem, each containing a gagged Western woman: Belly Dancer, the sole heiress of a prominent U.S. chain-store empire; Velvet, a film actress hailed by the media as the “new Scandinavian love goddess”; and Prince Salim, an Asian-European champion rider. Ilsa, who runs the harem, greets them with promises of luxury, yet the newcomers quickly feel the weight of their confinement and resist the idea of being owned rather than redeemed.
