From preschool, Sara Jacob has carried a fierce, unwavering love for the popular classmate Brian Porterson, a boy who has remained oblivious to her existence. She dreams of a fairytale wedding with him, imagining a future where their paths finally align.
Then a solar eclipse changes everything. Inexplicably, the two are ripped from their 1990 high school life and dropped onto the day of their wedding in 2007. In this strange jump through time, [Sara Jacob] is still seen as a seventeen-year-old by everyone around her, while [Brian Porterson] also appears older and more grown-up than his real age. The wedding feels real, yet the couple quickly discovers they are woefully unprepared for the demands and responsibilities of adulthood.
