The story unfolds as a blend of realism and fable, tracing the life of a young country singer who, playing herself, LeAnn Rimes, prepares for a Christmas debut at the Grand Ole Opry. On this emotional journey, she meets Faith Shawn, a once-famous country singer who becomes a mentor and a bridge to the deeper history of the genre.
