What Is Hex About?
The premise of Hex without spoilers.
Mistreated by her cruel husband, the frail Chan Sau‑ying is resigned to a slow death from tuberculosis. When the new servant girl Yi‑wah empathises with her, the two women conspire to drown the husband one night, casting his bloated body into a nearby pond. In the aftermath, Sau‑ying becomes convinced that his corpse has risen from the water, driven by a vengeful hunger.
