Venugopal is a medical representative, an innocent young man who enjoys the company of women and often uses his bluster to impress them. After a routine day at work, he decides to catch a movie, hoping for a simple, distraction-free evening. While he hails a taxi to the theatre, a beautiful young woman stops the car and asks him to drop her at a nearby hotel. Enchanted by her beauty, he agrees to escort her and even offers to post a letter she has written on the way. The woman appears hurried and perplexed, and their conversation is brief, leaving Venugopal with little time to ask questions or learn more about her.

Later, at the cinema, during the break, Venugopal steps into the restroom and is attacked by a group of goons who demand the letter. They drive him to the boss’s place and press him to reveal the address to which the letter was posted. Yet Venugopal cannot recall any address, and the interrogation leaves him battered and shaken, unsure of who is pulling the strings or why he has become the target.

The following day, with Minnal Babu, a police officer, by his side, Venugopal goes to confront the boss and lodge a formal complaint.
