Makarand Kamati [Vikramjeet Virk] heads a Goa-based slave trade and drug racket, and when Inspector Madhusudhan tries to shut him down, Makarand strikes back, injuring Madhusudhan and leaving him immobilized.
Meanwhile, Varun [Nithiin], a globe-trotting hippie with a stubborn belief in freedom, drifts across continents after losing his parents in the USA. He supports himself with short-term gigs found on Craigslist and spends nights on the road with a couple of kitchen tools for cooking, living as a self-described “free soul” who shuns traditional relationships.
In Spain, Varun crosses paths with Hayati [Adah Sharma], an Indian woman who has come to persuade Priya’s father, ISKCON Ramana [Brahmanandam], a devout Krishna follower who dislikes love marriages, to accept her relationship with Haridas, an African musician. To catch her attention, Varun pretends to suffer a heart attack and cleverly secures her phone number, though he doesn’t learn her name at first.
Hayati arrives in Spain to pursue her cause, and after much chasing and teasing, Varun proposes a playful bet: if he can win Ramana’s blessing for the lovers, Hayati will kiss him. Varun wins the challenge, and the two share a kiss, though this moment is colored by the complexities of their evolving feelings.
In a separate thread, Varun exposes Makarand’s drug racket and disrupts his men, Ammu and others, at an arena, proving that his smash-and-grab loyalty to justice can collide with romance. After this confrontation, Varun and Hayati kiss for an hour, but Hayati sets a firm condition: Varun should never meet her again, a demand that tests his resolve.
Varun then heads to Romania, where he meets Chitrangada, a woman with a similar worldview who offers strong moral support. Spending time with her helps him realize that his true affection lies with Hayati. Bolstered by Chitrangada’s encouragement, Varun returns to Priya’s house and uncovers a clue revealing that Hayati is in Goa.
With the help of a nod to the iconic Rajinikanth, Varun tracks Hayati to Goa. He eventually meets her, but she rejects him at first. The situation grows thornier when Makarand, Ammu, and his men arrive and reveal that Hayati is Makarand’s would-be wife. It is eventually revealed that Hayati is Madhusudhan’s daughter; to cover her father’s mounting medical expenses, Hayati agrees to marry Makarand, unaware of the full danger she is stepping into.
Varun slaps Hayati and learns the truth, a moment that underscores the peril her choices pose to his own happiness as a free soul. Desperate to save Madhusudhan and his daughter, Varun seeks help from another powerful ally, Prakash Raj [Prakash Raj], who offers ₹2 crore on one condition: Varun must rescue his kidnapped daughter from Makarand.
Armed with determination, Varun infiltrates Makarand’s den and discovers that Hayati is already entangled in the opium trade. In a climactic confrontation, Varun kills Makarand by slitting his throat, freeing Hayati from danger and breaking the grip of the criminal network. Madhusudhan begins to recover, and Prakash Raj is reunited with his daughter.
In the aftermath, Varun and Hayati marry and embark on their honeymoon, aided by flight tickets and financial support from Prakash Raj, signaling a turn toward a hopeful future for the couple and a hard-earned resolution to the many dangers they faced along the way.
