Later, Shemp unexpectedly crosses paths with Larry, incapacitating him and dressing him as Santa Claus to misdirect Moe, Millie, and Moe’s wife in a final bid to keep the truth buried beneath the farce.

The last chase intensifies as Moe pursues the decoy Santa, and in a bizarre twist of fate, a celebratory gunshot ends with Moe shooting himself in the foot, accidentally turning a moment of supposed resolution into another chaotic mishap.
