Hoping to pivot into something steadier, they hatch a plan to enter the hospitality trade, aiming to own a saloon. A misunderstanding, however, flips their fate in a very unexpected way: they unexpectedly acquire a beauty salon in the tranquil Mexican village of Cucaracha. The setting feels peaceful and unhurried, a sharp contrast to the usual frenetic energy of their schemes, yet the Three Stooges bring their signature chaos with them, turning a simple business shift into a full-blown comic misadventure.

Undeterred by the odd purchase, the trio tries to greet their first customer, Rosita, with a beauty treatment that goes spectacularly awry. They offer her a mud pack allegedly made from natural mud, but it turns out to be cement, creating a messy, slapstick hurdle that they scramble to resolve. Removing the cement from Rosita’s face becomes a long, exhausting sequence of frantic efforts and comic mishaps, setting the tone for the day’s escalating chaos.

The trouble compounds when the Stooges unintentionally scalp three additional Mexican patrons—Juanita, Conchita & Pepita—through a misguided attempt at grooming, aided by a misapplied hair remover. Señor Manuel, the employer of the aggrieved women, arrives with a storm of anger, joined by the irate companions.
