Which businessman gifts Aditya an expensive car and later proposes a vile deal?
Read the complete plot summary of Hate Story 3, including all major events, twists, and the full ending explained in detail. Explore key characters, themes, hidden meanings, and everything you need to understand the story from beginning to end.
Aditya Singh, portrayed by Sharman Joshi, is a successful and respected businessman who, along with his wife Kavya, portrayed by Daisy Shah, inaugurates a hospital in memory of his elder brother Vikram Diwan, a man whose life is told through a touching recollection: Vikram once donated half his liver to a childhood friend named Karan to save him from a life-threatening ailment. The scene sets up a family that values loyalty and public goodwill, yet is about to be tested by hidden motives and dangerous games.
Enter Saurav Singhania, a sharp and ambitious rival, portrayed by Karan Singh Grover. He arrives at the event with a glossy gift—a luxurious car—and extends an invitation for Aditya and Kavya to join him for lunch. What begins as small talk quickly spirals into a morally warped proposition: Saurav casually proposes a vile trade, promising vast profits if Kavya would have sex with him. Shocked and angered, Aditya rejects the offer, sparking a vengeful scheme that will cast a long shadow over the Diwan family and its business empire.
From that moment, Saurav hatches a plan to ruin Aditya’s company. He engineers a sinister trap by bribing a factory worker to mix pesticides into the cola produced at Aditya’s plant, triggering a shutdown and throwing suspicion on Aditya’s trusted staff. The fallout lands on Kaya, a lower-level employee who becomes an unwitting pawn in a larger scheme. Kaya flees to Malaysia, where Saurav spins a fake tale of a sister’s suicide to fuel the deception, and Kaya agrees to cooperate in exchange for a chance to clear her name. Aditya, believing Kaya to be complicit in the harm to his business, asks Kaya to deliver money to a politician, only to realize too late that he has walked into a trap.
To manufacture her downfall, Saurav manipulates Kaya into reaching out to Aditya, claiming she no longer wishes to be his pawn. When Kaya begins to resist and seeks to reveal the truth, Saurav moves decisively—he kills Kaya and manipulates the evidence to frame Aditya for her death. Siya, Aditya’s wife, enters the plot in a perilous and intimate way, choosing to sleep with Saurav in a calculated bid to salvage Aditya and protect the family’s reputation. In the chaos, a brutal truth surfaces: Vikram was killed by Aditya in a misguided bid to gain control of the company, a revelation that shakes the foundation of the family’s trust.
As the plot thickens, Aditya prepares to launch a new project, while the ruthless Saurav remains alive and continues to press his advantage. The two men collide in a brutal confrontation that leaves both wounded. In a devastating turn, Saurav kills Siya and Aditya, severing the family from its leader and destabilizing the business empire. Yet the truth about Vikram’s fate lingers in the air, and new evidence points to a shocking reality: Vikram did survive the plane crash, but was left handicapped. The story then reveals a far more personal twist: Saurav is actually Karan Singh Grover’s character, known as Karan, Vikram’s best friend, who has been living under this alias to exact vengeance for the injustices done to his friend. The final act is a bitter reckoning, as Karan (Saurav) begins to recover and the film closes with a poignant line about the nature of bonds and loyalty:
“Relationships are made from the heart, not by blood.”
